Fourdees Limited models are detailed scale models for adult collectors, with many small and fine detailed parts. They are not for children under 14 years old.
 
With regards to kits, once parts are removed from their packaging they cannot be returned. Fourdees Limited is not liable for any breakages of parts during the assembly of the kit, but it may be possible to purchase replacements. Where modelling tools and consumables are used, this is at your own risk, and you should follow the guidance of any tools and consumables used in building and painting the kit. If modifying the parts in any way (either by cutting, filing, sanding or drilling) be sure to wear appropriate protective clothing such as gloves and masks.
 
Where items use resin parts (e.g. kits and scenic items) keep them out of prolonged exposure to sunlight in order to prevent the part from warping. Wash only in cool water, as warm water can again warp the parts. At all times be careful handling the object, as they will break if dropped against a hard surface.
 
All DC and DCC model locomotives are intended for use with proprietary model railway controllers designed specifically for operation of UK N-gauge, analogue system model trains. Use of non-standard or alternative system controllers risks damage to the motors and electrical wiring of the models.
