This excellent eBay seller promptly mailed this aerial photo on a postcard of the Lincoln Cathedral. Obviously, this is a view I could never get myself while on the ground (I very much like the added perspective). I was in Lincoln on a late summer afternoon with the sun on the western front facade of the Cathedral with bright colors. But the nearby castle had already closed; so I climbed as high as on could on the castle walls to get a view over the nearby roofs. With Much Appreciation!!!!!!

This excellent eBay seller promptly mailed this photo on a postcard of the Castle of Thun rising above the town with the same name, Thun, Switzerland. My approach when driving into this town was along the southwest side of Lake Thunersee and the Castle totally dominated the skyline of the approaching community with its square tower & turits on each corner.
