Sorry you were disappointed. I did make a mistake in selecting the like new description, but I did note there was a tear in the spine which had been sellotaped & also photographed front & back cover which showed the damage. The portion of spine was torn rather than missing. I could have photographed it close up & should have done as well as ensuring the condition was acceptable not as new. I hope you still enjoy the book.
